Review: Sleek Storm Palette

Hey everyone! Sorry that i havn't been blogging lately, i've been caught up in school with homework and all that jazzy stuff...

But anyway, on with the blog

I recived this sleek palette for chistmas 2o1o off one of my best friends, sian
(btw sian, if your reading this, thankyou :D)
these palettes retail for about £5.99 from superdrug and they have many other palettes to choose from.

The packaging of the sleek palette is, well, 'sleek'. It is plastic, but it isn't the cheap plastic that you get on most of the other cheap palettes. The feel of this is hard to describe, it's kind of rubbery velvety.

This palette is very sleek and slim, the perfect size to fit in your makeup or handbag!

As you can see in the picture above, it contains 12 highly pigmented mineral eyeshadows. And it also contains one fat ass mirror at the top! perfect for doing makeup on the go!

Here are the colours enlarged, as you can see they are beautuful colours, perfect for everyday and beginners. Basically all the colours that you need to get started with makeup.

^These are swatches from the top row ^

^These are swatches from the bottom row^

As you can see, these eye shadows are very beautiful and pigmented.
Perfect for beginners in makeup, or us makeup lovers altogether.

I hope this helped x

Lush Comforter Bubble Bar Review

This bubble bar from lush is highly popular, due to its yummy blackcurrent scent, and its ginormous size.

Its has a scent of sweet and fruity blackcurrent, with a sort of vanilla twist to it.

Lush say that you should crumble half of this bubble bar into the tub. But personally, i think a quatre of this bar is enough to use.

The bubble bars are supposed to be crumbled under running water. But rules were made to be broken, right? I crumble my bar up and put it in the bottom of the tub, because i think this way gives you much more bubbles.

I then turn on the taps and let the bubbles grow bigger and better. As the bath is running, i like to swoosh the water around so every bit of bubble bar is dissolved.

Now, enjoy your hollywood style bubbles and let the evening float away...

My opinions:

Ups :D :
Smells lovely
It's humongus
You can use it so many times
The colour of the water

Downs :( :
The smell dosen't linger

I hope this helped x

My way of storing lush products

From bath ballistics to soap, there's a way to store it all. Heres how i do it...

The picture above is an old bedside table that i used to use, but could no longer use it because i had no room. so now i store my lush in it

Here is the table open so you can see the way i store things

I store my lush in the truly scrumtious gift box that i got for my birthday. It's a really handy box and looks super cute.

I keep my shower jellies in the containers that they come in, because it keeps them nice and fresh
(lush have changed the containers now)

I keep my bubble bars, bath ballistics, bath melts, massage bars and sugar scrubs in the yellow bags that lush gives you. because there so easy to handle.
I know that lush have massage bar tins, but i am not sure to get one yet as i have one massage bar and the yellow bags are fine.

This is a picture of how i store my soaps. I cut them up into small chunks, put them into plastic bags and then those into one plastic bag. I know this isn't a very good way of storing them, but i havn't found a better way yet, any suggestions?

This box is the secret santa gift box which i recived for christmas. Inside i keep samples which lush gave me, and other small things like the bubblegum lipscrub, charity pot travel size, etc.

I keep my little satsumo santa out because i have nothing to put him in, and i have to use him soon because he was a christmas product, and they don't last forever.

If you don't have any lush gift boxes, or you just dont wany to store your stuff in them, then these plastic baskits are really useful. they are plastic so they wipe easily.
I found these baskets in tesco home living, £1 for 3 baskets.
(also avalible at B&M and poundland)

If you want something bigger, then these baskets would do the job. Again, they are plastic so they wipe down easily. Also found at tesco home living, £2 for 2 baskets

I hope this helped x
